UGANDA WANTS CARBON CASH : Junior environment minister Anywar pushes for carbon trade
The State Minister for Environment Beatrice Anywar says Uganda is determined to push for carbon trading among other environmental financing mechanisms so that Ugandans involved in tree planting projects and the country can earn from the absorption of carbon emissions. First deputy prime minister Rebecca Kadaga is leading the government delegation to the 27th United Nations climate change conference slated to run from 06th to 18th November 2022 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
